Director's Filmography
Mansha totla is an independent Film director, writer and producer. She uses the visual of film to not only entertain and mesmerise, but also to educate. She leans towards experimental filmmaking, usually combining more than one mediums of expression in her films to relay a stronger sense of emotion.

In 2017, she received the IB diploma from Dhirubhai Ambani International school, in Mumbai. After that she attended Syracuse university, in Upstate, New York, to pursue an undergraduate degree in Film and Art Design. She took a gap year around the time that Covid hit and came back to work in Mumbai, under Guneet Moonga and Smriti Mundhara, working on and staring in Netflix’s Emmy Nominated show : Indian matchmaking.

Samsara, is her debut short film as an independent film director, writer and producer. It will be starting its film festival tour later this year (2024).

During Covid, she produced, wrote and directed a short student film on earth conservation named “One Earth, One Chance” that went viral and won multiple film festival awards in India. In the second year of covid, her short student documentary on a dyslexic graffiti artist titled “Spraying Positivity” won numerous awards in multiple international film festivals.
In 2021 she transferred to Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles to complete her undergraduate degree and majored in Journalism. She then returned to India in 2022 and launched Kamyaab Productions.
She produced her first independent feature film the same year titled “The Money Collector” which was Written and Directed by Dadasaheb Phalke award winner, Palash Muchal, with music from actor Piyush Mishra and musicians Palak Muchal and Shaan.
