SAMSARA

4 years in the making, Samsara, is an experimental film that combines stop motion animation, live action and visual effects, to create a fantasy world that chronicles the life cycle of a monarch butterfly, shown in human form. Portrayed by a transgender actor, the film emphasises the severity of mental health issues and the importance of empathy in our society today, by showing us the world from the perspective of the sufferer and that of the observer.
